Genset

Post by RB2 »

Hi everybody,
I had to get my wife to register on the forum we are calling her RB2, but this is rb1. I hope everyone is well, and has had a great year boating. I have taken out a 5.0kw Genset Westerbeke generator from my 69 37 ft Alcan. This Genset although was installed in 2004 it only has 21 hours on it, So it is in new condition. I will not be re installing it, so if anybody is interested in a really good Genset that is complete with muffler, and remote switches I would be open to reasonable offers. I have had this unit running for 4.5 hours in my shop, and it is an excellent running machine. As luck would have it, I was able to spend one month at the north channel this summer. It's the first time that I was that far north, and I could not believe that the conditions were so perfect.

Hi RB1

I am assuming that this is a gasoline fueled genset ?
What would you consider a "reasonable" price to be ?

Is this still available? How much are you asking? Where are you located?

Probably a fair price, but way outside my budget. Thanks, anyhow. Gene
