Georgian Bay Cruise,Summer 2008

Post by limitless »

Hello All,
Just a quick note to mention that we just finished a two week vacation from Britt(St Amants, Marina) to the Port of Orillia in Ontario with our Alcan. "Limitless" was a great trooper!!! We put a total of 338miles on 38 cruising hours. Yes, she's a diesel girl. She loves the water. You could'nt ask for better cruising waters!!! She did the last 4 locks of the Trent system...including the The Big Chute Railway, and 72 miles of outside open water down the middle of Georgian Bay.We had no problems at all. Met so many wonderful people on our cruise! Took lots of pics. Anyone interested in seeing more pics in detail feel free to reply and we will make sure you get a chance to see them (to many to post!!) It was so nice to meet all the wonderful people on our cruise. Including Krista & Gus, who recognized our boat from this website, and made a point to come and see us!!! How special is that!!! We were amazed to see B.F.B in the waters at the Wrights Marina in Britt, made a point to go and visit with them. What a wonderful trip, from anchoring at 30,000 islands to dock service at Port of Orillia and O'Hara Park.
Hope to see you all again on our next journey on the waters!!!
