Hey everyone
It is time to start thinking about a get-together for this year. At the 2014 rendezvous we discussed bringing it back to the Gananoque area, so that is our plan for this year. I have published preliminary information on the Rendezvous page, but I will repeat it here
Date-time: 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 15, 2015 till Sunday August 16, 2015
Location: Gananoque, ON. Precise location to be determined
Activities:
Kick-off with the traditional BBQ lunch at noon on Saturday. Buster will provide Burgers, Sausages and condiments. Salads and other snacks are welcome, but not required.
Saturday afternoon will include an Alcanboats boat show and a cruise in the islands aboard participating boats.
For Saturday evening, we will do a pot-luck dinner. We will fire up the BBQs, but you need to bring your own meat and a side dish to share.
Sunday morning we will do a brunch at a local restaurant for people that stay overnight.
The rendezvous will formally end around Noon on Sunday.

David. Steve and I will come by car. On the main page you quote having dinner out on Sat. Eve but here you say the potluck BBQ. Which are we going to do? Let me know location ASAP so we can book accommodation.

We will be returning to the Trident Yacht Club (1699 Trident Yacht Club Ln, Gananoque, ON) this year.
We were a little hesitant about this location as apparently the harbor is full with members and we will not be able to make reservations for the boats. That being said, we believe there will be enough members out with their boats that we will be able to accommodate our own boats.

I don't think it affects people arriving by car. Trident has plenty of parking and lovely facilities. I think the only drawback is that the nearest hotels are 10km away in Gananoque. Trident is home port to Catherine Ann, so we are guaranteed at least the one spot for a boat.
