Dinghy lift on swim platform- unique idea

If you have a solid swim platform this Dinghy lift is a great solution. The weight sits on the platform and the boat goes in the water quickly and easily with one rope.

I saw this a few years ago, and i thought it novel. I just had it installed. My Zodiac is 11' and can carry a 10hp motor.
The guy who does the building of these is Keith, and he is very clever and honest. If you have other metal work ideas he can accommodate. He works out of Midland.
