good job on the new site Dave/ looking good !!

so I'm starting you off with a pic of our all most finished- 1973 28'er

its was owned by Captain Jack [ may he rest in peace] from West port Ont.

we purchased it in 2006 from his family ,

the interior was destroyed by mould and rott, and it has been a labor of love

it first was launched last year, 2012 for motor / out drive testing ,at Ludlows boat works Kempville

and this season it is in Dows lake Ottawa,[ close to home]

I haven't seen any suggestions for next seasons reunion/ gathering?

what about Canada Day at the ART CENTRE in OTTAWA?

Thanks for your comments and the shot of your boat. If you have a few minutes, get me some information on your boat and put it in the registration form (http://www.alcanboats.com/newsite_wordp ... ation-form). I will set up a Registry page for your boat and publish some of the other pictures you have sent me.

If you have pictures of your work on the boat, I would love to get them up on the site for people to see everything you have done.

With respect to rendezvous, I will start a separate discussion on that topic.

We have owned our AlWest 37 since August 2011. We still have some work to do, but she is coming along nicely...except for an unknown amount of TLC needed by the engines. We'd love to get together with you in Ottawa, as we live near Mooney's Bay. (Our boat is currently at Long Island Marina in Kars.)
