I have been storing my boat the same way for two years. Build trusses and use a hay bail tarp. They are $300 but will last

Re: Projects
Here in the Maritimes all we have time to do is shovel Snow. But I look at my 32 Seavilla under tarp everyday and think summer is coming. I have been in it quite a few times to check things out. Going to Halifax boat show in a couple of weeks but it will be the same. Everyone too busy to talk. The M...

Re: help me identify this boat
Interesting I tried to buy this boat late 2012 but missed it by 2 days. It was located near Shawinigan, Quebec
I believe it is a Seavilla 32 foot as it is identical to the one we eventually purchased.
Had a nice trailer as well
Good buy at 20,000 with trailer better at 13000. Of course.

Re: Outer Deck options
Thanks for the suggestions. I think paint it is .. On another note I find my sliding door is a little sloppy and sticky. The lower track at the farthest end seems to be a set about an inch from the wall but is flush on top. Is this normal?
The interior upgrade is coming along nicely.
Cheers Dan

Outer Deck options
Ok so I am trying to decide how to redo the outer main deck (upper will be carpet). Do I buy a pice of carpet and try to figure out how much to cut from the centre without making a mistake or do I find a non slip type of paint
Any suggestions are welcome

Lower berth
Thought since my Grand Daughter claimed the lower forward berth I would add a little light and flair to the door. Expensive little addition. Came from Traditional Marine Traders in Nova Scotia

Wow time flies. Yes great idea about the booth for additional head room in forward berth. Once it warms up I will get under the tarp. Hope you and all users have a Great Christmas.

Re: New Technical Articles
Great Information Rob. I can see the sun shade as a great feature. I am hoping we can create a small lower berth with the Sea Villa 32. Not as much head room. Cheers Dan

General topic
As captain of a new to us Seavilla 320 I finally found time to take a good look at the Alcan site and was very pleased to see the pride of the many owners when discussing their fine crafts and the camaraderie of the owners. As I am too of course. I took the time to also review past rendezvous that t...

Running Free is moving to New Brunswick
Running Free will be moving to Shediac, New Brunswick in the next week or so. We have been looking for an Alcan Cruiser for quite some time. This Sea Villa 320 is just what we wanted. It is a good solid boat. We will be doing a refresh just to suit our own tastes as she is in great condition. Dan an...
