We actually thought of raising the floor even in the alwest. We live in Holland landing and our home port is Holland River (south Lake Simcoe )about 2 hrs away

The previous owner of our boat twice a season would travel down the river with about 30 people everyone I talked to said they had a good time and no troubles so I think that are boats are OK with that at least but I also do not have a transom plate. Hope this helps

Rob We are thinking of doing our lower berth but wonder what we can do about headroom? I was wondering what is under us in the square areas under the matress our setup was originally two twins and now one double the headromm is a little low. Ideas?
